It was our great honor to have the opportunity to undertake a benchmark visit to TVET MARA Balik Pulau at Pulau Pinang, and Politeknik Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah (PTSB) Kulim at Kedah.
During the visit, our team had the opportunity to explore the facilities and gain valuable insights into advanced technical and industrial training practices.
At TVET MARA Balik Pulau, our team toured the recognized premier regional hub for industrial automation training in partnership with FANUC. We gained first-hand exposure to their automation training facilities, including the FANUC Robot Trainer, ROBOGUIDE simulation software, and ROBOGUIDE controllers. The visit provided valuable insights into how simulation and robotics technologies can enhance practical learning and prepare students for the evolving demands of the industry.
Our team also visited PTSB Kulim, where we explored their advanced CNC machine simulation facilities. The simulation technology enables machining operations to be planned, tested, and controlled in a risk-free virtual environment, helping to minimize the potential for accidents, machine damage, and costly operational errors while strengthening students’ practical skills.
